Alright, so I finally made the decision that I want to be done with my running career (at least for the moment). I’m so thankful for everyone who has played a role in getting me to where I am today. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without you. However, with that being said, it brings me to the question of; “Who am I now?”
Since I started seriously racing in high school, I’ve been known as “the runner.” I can’t begin to tell you how many people in school came up to me and asked if I was that girl who ran. Now that that chapter of my life has come to a close, I have to wonder where am I going from here. So this will be an account of my life, post-competing. I’m not sure where I’ll be going from here, but every day is a new adventure and I guess it’s just time to blaze a new trail.
